Designer CV
My name is Olga and I come from Moscow. I am that kind of industrial designer ,who created аbrand of consumer products right after graduation of BA Industrial
design. In general, the idea for this step was to get all kind of industrial design experience at once – from sketch to manufact uring process, from sales to users
feedback. I just wanted to find out what does it mean “to make things”. I think, I wouldn’t do that risky step in my career i f I didn’t see a wonderful new niche with
200 million users only in EU, approx. 20 billions euro market valuation and low level of competitors. It’s Pet market. And I was impressed and was enough
ambitious to take a chance to found new “ Ikea” or maybe new “Zara home” for pets. For next 5 years I did what I want and it was time of non -stop creativity – I
created and organize manufacturing of full product line (40 sku ) for pet furniture and accessorize (+ apox .30 SKU in sketches and prototypes). I also did SMM, PR
and sales activities to find out how customers see my design, how many of them stayed with a brand for 2 nd, 3 rd purchase etc. I must admit that it was very hard
but very exciting experience.
For these 5 years I realized that,
First of all – I am industrial designer with rational mind and curiosity for nature background (first degree MA in Physics). I am advanced in Rhino 3d, KeyShot, hand
prototyping, 3D printing. I like to work with sustainable materials metal, wood and ceramic. I also design plastic things but frankly speaking – I don’t like it much. I
My strongest feature is creative vision: I adore to create NEW types consumer wow looking products
Second of all – ihave got a lot of side skills as creative entrepreneur – SMM, PR, Marketing, e -comm , working with customers feedback, creating presentation and
pitches for VC guys etc.. I can pitch everywhere and passionately speak about what I do. I know many things about marketing side of selling. I think, it awesome,
because I can create product design with business tasks in mind
.

For now, I need some changes in my life. I want to have more focus on design
and creativity only. I want to change place I live and work. And I want to work
with people who are passionate about creating physical things, that other
people can touch, use. With my design I want to give meaningful experience for
people from small and mid -sized manufacturers. Design means human

With this design, I searched for an
uncluttered and simple way to
organize three bowls

The idea of this design was to create a
‘home within a home’ for cats or dogs
that prefer a secluded hiding space.
This idea inspired the classic roof -like
shape of the house
