Investment Corp (SEIC) under Project Sakhalin II. S afety and assurance are the top priority for the design

SEIC operate three Offshore Platforms, Oil & Gas Pi pelines, an Onshore Processing Facility, LNG Termin al,
and Oil Export Terminal.
Experience include working on produced water and se awater treatment and injection facilities; complete
upgrade of Drilling facilities (mud circulation, tr eatment and reinjection, CRI system, cement system,
hydraulic power system, etc); flowline installation (Production, Gas lift system, Water Injection, CRI );
upgrade of existing process systems for oil and gas treatment as well as utility systems.
Main Projects that I am working on / worked on as t he Responsible Process Engineer:
1. Drilling Rig refurbishment Project for complete upg rade of the existing drilling equipment on
Offshore Platform, including HP/LP Mud system, CRI system, Mud circulation and treatment
system, Mud Storage System, Cement System, Bulk Air system, hydraulic power system, etc. This
is one of the world/s biggest brownfield drilling m odification.
2. Concept development associated with the brownfield modifications for the development of the
Lunskoye Field Fault Block-1 production opportunity . Technically feasible concepts were developed
to sеlесtin the next sеlесtStage) best suitable concept considering involved brownfield
modifications. The Project goal is to install subse a or WHP production systems for the new field
located next to existing offshore production platfo rm. Options for Tie-Back to the existing offshore
platform Lun-A; to the OPF (Onshore Processing Faci lity); or hot tap Tie-In to the existing MPPL
were studied.
3. Project for developing technically feasible concept s (with regards to brownfield modifications) for
the development of the Piltun Block-2 production op portunity with the goal to increase total
production of oil and gas. New MPP (Multiphase Proc ess Platform) with different variations will be
installed to develop new PB-2 field. Study to demon strate technical feasibility (or non-feasibility)
for the proposed Concepts in terms of required brow nfield modifications with staircase approach.
This includes assessment of the existing offshore p roduction platforms (PAB/PAA) capacity and
check impact on onshore transportation system inclu ding booster stations and pipelines:
a. Assessment of the oil handling capacity on two exis ting offshore production platforms and
possible improvement in oil export specifications.
b. Debottleneck study for the existing gas treatment a nd export system on offshore
production platforms for increased gas throughput c apacity. Including gas compression,
dehydration, dew pointing and gas export systems; a ssessment of Flare system and other
affected utilities like MEG regeneration, etc.
c. Impact assessment to existing Sakhalin-2 onshore ga s transportation system due to
additional gas production.
d. Impact assessment to existing Sakhalin-2 onshore oi l transportation system due to
additional oil production
4. Various Projects for Upgrade of the Produced Water Treatment and Injection Systems on Offshore
platforms (PAA/PAB). This includes Projects from in itial Concept development and Selection
through FEED and to the Detailed Design and complet ion.
5. Projects for Installation of the various flowlines (Water Injection, Production, Gas Lift, CRI).
6. Installation of the Boiler Feed Water treatment Pro ject. New Deoxygenation Unit and associated
dedicated membrane Nitrogen generation Unit were pr oposed and selected for installation. Project
goal is to reduce oxygen content in the BFW that is used for the Platform heating system to avoid
corrosion issues with the Boilers.
