I am a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of success. Throughout my life up until the present day I have been singled out for my leadership and problem solving abilities and have very good knowledge and understanding of Business Operations and Management including day to day management and new venture support. Although my background comes from the Investment sphere I find that my real value is being able to learn new skills and apply my own skills to the job at hand. InsureDirect – Scotland

Since locating back to Scotland I have been responsible for developing new markets and liaising with all stakeholders to create value and customer satisfaction.

The role requires me to analyse market trends and customer needs and develop products and marketing strategies in order to best capture data and convert to sales. I have a large degree of autonomy in the role and as such have been able to forge relationships within the insurance sector that allow InsureDirect and it’s subsidiaries to punch well above their weight in the insurance sector.

During this period I have also overseen the move from a standing start into international markets in Europe and the United States for the Travel Insurance brand “InsureDirectGlobal” launched upon my arrival.

As well as providing investment advice on a discretionary and advisory basis whilst working in Wealth Management in Moscow, I was approached to provide bespoke advice to clients and counterparties in a number of areas including the reporting, maintenance and preparation for the facilitation of physical commodity sales – Oil, Petroleum and Natural Gas. Often dealing with key decision makers within international Financial Institutions and Energy companies, my negotiation abilities developed exponentially during this period.

Whilst studying for my Investment Advice Diploma, my role was client acquisition and account opening. This role involved employing a range of sales techniques including cold calling as well as compiling and presenting research to interested parties in the Derivatives markets. Liaising with my team, our main areas of focus were UK and US equities as well as the Indices and limited commodities.

I was headhunted from my previous role at Paramount Care Agency in order to spearhead the development and launch of a number of Insurance brands and the re-launch of the InsureDirect brand. I implemented a comprehensive range of marketing techniques and used my skills to updаtеthe company’s procedures to allow the business to thrive in an extremely competitive marketplace, answering directly to the board of directors. In this role I was involved in all aspects of product development including negotiations with some of the largest names in insurance.

In this role I was responsible for over 150 employees within the care sector. In my short period at Paramount Care I was responsible for the expansion into two new lucrative geographical areas, Tayside and Lothian. My efforts were rewarded as I was appointed Operations Director in February 2011. I then became responsible for all of the company’s operations in all areas and made decisions regarding the business with the backing of the Board. In my final year with Paramount Care I secured a lucrative tender and oversaw the doubling of shareholder funds.

I had to undergo several rigorous training programs that were challenging both mentally and physically. I received training in all aspects of warfare from building fortifications to demolitions and weapons training. During my Basic phase of training I was awarded the Best Recruit Award, this award is for all round soldiering and leadership skills during this phase.
