My GOAL for every client from 4 to 64+ years old is to quickly develop a stronger command of English's “4,130+ Phrasal Verbs based structure[Phrasal Verb Plus, MacMillan, 2005]” using any textbook or program whether listening, reading or speaking Business, Conversational, or Academic English. People started to explicitly “Read Words” only about 6,000 years ago. Excellent musicians can explicitly “Read Music” and faithfully reproduce each note read by voice or instrument “every time”. Almost all my clients, regardless of age or ability, start to explicitly “Read Phrasal Verbs” (both high and low frequency usage) that they hear or read after only 30 to 60 academic hours of twice weekly classes(depending on whether they have 60, 90, 120 or 135 minute classes) with my Phrasal Verb methodology of teaching English.
Moscow Public/Private Forms 1-11, English Test Preparation, and English Teacher for Adult Clients(Full-time/Part-time), EduLife English Center, July 2007 to Present
Elena Shchur Ph.D., EduLife General Director, Shcherbinka Region of Moscow, (m)+7 (903) 136-70-75
While teaching for EduLife I have taught in several Moscow Public Schools and several Moscow suburban private schools. I specialize in Communicative English techniques and Phrasal Verb tutoring of all my Russian students or adult clients. I shоwthem how to explicit recognize virtually any of English's 4,130+ “Formal Phrasal Verbs” and how to understand them in context. If any English Learner does not either know most of the 4,130+ phrasal verbs (which Native English Speakers say 50 to up to 83% of the time, as stated in one U.S.A. Ph.D. dissertation) or have a strategy to recognize and understand them almost instantly he or she will usually not perform well the first few times on any British or American standardized written or verbal English language test. It usually takes 30-60 academic hours (depending on class frequency and length per week) for my clients, regardless of age, and English ability(Beginner-A1 to Advanced-C2) to start spontaneously to recognize both high and low frequency phrasal verbs. My veteran students can usually recognize almost instantly any phrasal verbs and can understand them. At that point English tests like TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, GMAT, FCE, BEC, CAE and Moscow School System's Olympiad become much easier to understand and to earn a high score.
Conversational English Preschool Teacher(Full-time/Part-time), EduLife English Center, Shcherbinka Region of Moscow (July 2007-Present) - Elena Shchur Ph.D., EduLife General Director, (m)8 (903) 136-70-75
With EduLife I have taught Conversational English part-time or full-time from July 2007 to the Present to groups of children aged 4-5, 6-7, 8-17 and adults over 18-64+ years old. EduLife utilizes Cambridge's IBT program for Beginner English learners 4-6 years old. For the other groups I used British Council and Headway lesson plans prepared by Elena Shchur Ph.D. to teach and review. For children 7-18 years old Professor Shchur uses Headway English books that MGU also uses to teach Russian adults English from Beginner to Advanced English levels.

Part-time Pre-school English Teacher for Sunny Preschool, Marshala Jukovskay 76-2, Moscow,
Jan 2017 to Present.
As a English Teacher for Year 1 and 2 Preschool children(4 to 5 and 6 to 7 year olds respectfully) at Sunny Pre-school I teach the Cambridge School Immersion-English curriculum for English Phonetics(using Jolly Phonics books) and Maths. We use the Cambridge School Year-end Assessments to evaluate our Year-2 Preschool children's English and Maths progress. I expect excellent results again from these children to fully prepare them to enter either an English Form 1 international school or Russian “Deep English” Form 1 curriculum.
Conversational English Preschool Teacher(Part-time), Lomonosov School, Ryublovka Suburbs, Uspenskoe village, Moscow Oblast, R.F. Sept 2- Dec 30, 2016
I taught Conversational English part-time to children from Forms 5 to 11 at this school. There were no textbooks issued to my students. My main task was to use current topical subjects to encourage their students to speak more English. There were too few class hours scheduled so I discontinued teaching there after December 2016.

Graduate School Econometric Modeling Adjunct Professor, МГАУ(www.msau.ru) 2010- Present
I teach a one month (40 academic hour) intensive statistical Management-Decision course for graduate(MA) level agro-engineers to manage the physical operation of an agricultural business. This class usually includes 5 Russian, 5 French and 5 North American graduate engineers. Due to the 2008 Financial Crisis and 2010 recession both French and U.S.A. foreign students have lost their university funding and have not been able to afford to attend this program to date. References available.
English Immersion Summer and Winter Camp Teacher; also TOEFL, IELTS, and English Olympiad Teacher, July 2016 to Present, English Planet, Moscow, Helen Yashina General Dir., Website: www.english-planet.info, (w) +7(495) 960-83-78, (m)+7(903) 960-83-78.
** At English Planet short-term English Immersion programs are implemented to quickly increase understanding of basic grammar and common English statements and questions and be able to reply intelligently.
** In 2008 with only one 2 academic class per week it took about 5 months for my first client to start explicitly to recognize common Phrasal Verbs. Later, with 2 academic classes twice every weekly it took about 50-60 academic hours for my clients to start to explicitly recognize phrasal verbs. In 2013 with one corporate client who had 2 classes of 3 academic hours(2:15) per week it took about 30 academic hours for some of the adult students to start to explicitly recognize phrasal verbs. In 2015 at the English Planet Immersion English Summer Camp I discovered that with 9 days of two 45 minute classes one boy with Intermediate level English, Marat, started to recognize phrasal verbs that we did not cover in his camp group's short Sherlock Holmes play that he had read every day without recognizing them until day 9 of his 12 day camp period.
** I look forward this year to applying my English language skills to help my Russians clients 4 to 64+ years old learn English more easily, effectively and efficiently.

English Teacher for Corporate English, TOEFL, IELTS, GMAT, FCE, BEC, and CAE test preparation, Native Speakers Club- EF, June 2010 – Sept. 2015, Moscow, Russia,
At English First(EF) I taught corporate executive clients English full-time for Business English and TOEFL, IELTS, GMAT, FCE, BEC, CAE test preparation. My main textbooks used were the English First, Market Leader and Total English textbooks for PreIntermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced top management corporate clients. I always add Phrasal Verb management training to all my Business and Conversational English courses from Pre-Intermediate to Advanced. Non phrasal verb teaching is a major deficit of most academic English program worldwide. English grammar textbooks are often too cleansed of phrasal verbs and have very few phrasal verbs for students to practice recognizing and learning.

Algebra-1 Teacher, Los Angeles Unified School District(LAUSD ID #794754), Los Angeles, CA, USA 2005-06
In Los Angeles, CA I taught Algebra-1 and ESL to 8th Grade children. I was the only Algebra-1 teacher of four teachers with any 5(“A”) and 4(“B”) students. In December 2005 I had 5-As and June 2006 I had 19-As for final grades because I retested children after a thorough review of each monthly test. California allows retesting but the 6-8 hours to regrade any test or quiz is not paid for so tenured teachers very rarely retest their students.
