Our client- International Pharmaceutical Company opened new vacancy -

Windows/Linux System, Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementation, administration, operation, support and ownership of Windows/Linux servers/applications/services/systems, DBMS
• Configure, install, troubleshoot and maintain line of Windows/Linux-based business servers and services, as well as related cloud-based, virtual and physical server infrastructure, DBMS
• Resolve integration problems related to specific equipment setting and configuration, issues with service continuity
• Monitor systems and perform hardware troubleshooting, tracking, resolution, and routine maintenance and security updates
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
• Execute or improve scripts to automate periodic database management operations
• Perform system and database backups and provide data recovery
• Building integration between systems
• Develop and document technical procedures

Requirements:

• Strong skills in Windows/Linux based systems administration
• Knowledge of virtual and cloud technologies
• Knowledge of database analysis and performance, improvement administration of MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL DBMS and managed DB services (PaaS)
• Experience of migration from Windows to Linux landscape, and from Microsoft to PostgeSQL
• Ability to build highly available and fault-tolerant DBMS configurations, optimize SQL queries etc.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements, network IP protocols and routing, bash/perl/Python
• In-depth knowledge of various infrastructure components, incl. servers, storage, networks, databases, virtualization, cloud services
• 3+ years of experience in Windows/Linux administration and in DBA IT-S

Conditions:
