Key responsibilities:

• Lead the Outsourcing operations for direct sourced Sport footwear ranges.
• Provide support to Retail Category Management for the development and production of Sport Brands mainly dedicated to Marketplaces.
• Be responsible for direct sourced Sport Footwear style selection, design adaptation, purchase price and production until delivery in stores.
• Partner with Retail Category Management and Marketplaces team for the development of exclusive footwear aligned to the needs of the channel.
• Select and manage a dedicated portfolio of suppliers able to provide ready developed sport footwear and prepared to support on design and material adaptation.
• Manage the footwear design and material adaptation using directly the resources given by the selected supplier.
• Present selected ranges to the internal partners through the given milestones until the collection of orders. Report and share the selection with BM FPD teams to ensure full integration of actions with PL and LB POD teams.
• Effectively negotiate and finalize best purchasing prices to guarantee the desired target retail prices and marginality.
• Negotiate on the contract and payment terms in the best interest of Sportmaster.
• Partner with Business Operations team and Supply Chain team to secure timely order placement.
• Follow-up on the full-scale production operations from commercialization till final inspection of Production using the resources of the Overseas Quality Control team.
• Effectively manage the production of direct sourced footwear, control its quality and guarantee an on-time shipment and delivery in store.
• Manage and resolve all related claim cases to protect the best interest of Sportmaster.

We expect:

• 3-5 year in similar position in Purchase with Asia based suppliers. Sport and casual footwear.

• Organizational skills: Planning, Priority setting, Proper escalation, Problem solving and decision making.

• Knowledge of footwear trends, materials, construction, and main footwear production processes. Strong expertise in footwear costing and CBD assessment.

• Self-organization & motivation. Ability to work independently.

• Basic Leadership skills: Influencing, Conflict Management, pro-activeness, sense of urgency and ability to work multitasking and under pressure. Strong negotiation skills.

• Cultivates cooperation and networks to maintain trustful relationships and gain support of peers and encourages collaboration (internally or externally).

• Communication Skills (Written & Spoken): Interpersonal, responsiveness, active Listening, Feedback, adapting to your audience, transports information clearly & effectively.

• Fluent in English.

• Degree in Economics or Engineering. Footwear technical degree also possible but with proven commercial and project management skills.

• English level: advanced

• Program ownership: MS Office.
