• fluent English (both written and verbal form)
• 5+ years in a development role
• Applicable qualification in software development or computer science
• Background or experience in human cancer biology is a bonus
• Python/R, Git, Linux, data science experience (Jupyter / RStudio) a plus
• Ability to advise software developers on relevant biology
• Comfortable with unix command line / shell script programming
• Familiar with sequence analysis and/or microarray data analysis tools and algorithms
• Experience with next-generation sequencing data, and a record of publications a plus
• Applied mathematics, Bayesian statistics, machine learning, optimization algorithms, and bioinformatics experience a plus
