Responsibilities:
Analytical support for key decisions on Net Revenue Management levers, monitoring the impact of current NRM decisions on key financial indicators, ensuring cross-functional interaction on NRM levers.
Conducting analysis on NRM levers:
- Requesting and collecting data from functions for analysis;
- Conducting strategic NRM analyses, such as:
- in-depth analysis of the current brand portfolio, including price positioning and product mix; modelling development scenarios (based on elasticity/profitability/competitive benchmarking) and market reactions to price changes;
- evaluation of new product launches to cover “white spots”, support development of pack price architecture;
- evaluation of promo strategies by channels/customers; recommendation of the optimal promotion strategy in accordance with the brand strategy, support development of promo guidelines (mechanics, depth, duration); post promo evaluation (ROI);
- assessment of current trade terms and proposal of options for its optimization/allocation;
- upgrade the level and quality of information about the competition about the market context: market development, consumer and shopper trends, channel development dynamics, competitor actions and its impact on NRM decisions;
- performing complex modelling of initiatives with a full impact evaluation, including forecasted volumes, market share change, P&L impact, investment needed, ROI, etc.
Coordination of the NRM process, diagnostics and development of NRM initiatives in the functions:
- Cross-functional coordination of process on NRM levers;
- Joint analysis of NRM initiatives with functions (Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.), hypothesis building, presentation of results to management;
- Training of employees of other functions to conduct analyses, identify NRM opportunities and evaluate it.
Requirements:
- At least bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics;
- >3 years of experience in finance/pricing analytics with a focus on pricing, planning and strategic development;
- Good knowledge of marketing/finance/operations in FMCG/retail/pharma/e-commerce;
- Understanding brand P&L, as well as the main P&L drivers;
- Ability to visualize complex findings in a simple way, to package ideas into a coherent storyline to best facilitate decision making;
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel (advanced use of formulas, modeling experience), Power Point, Power BI;
- High level of logical, structural and critical thinking, ability to work with large data arrays;
- Ability to build hypotheses and find ways to test it;
- Developed communication skills to coordinate the actions of various participants of the process;
- English skills at upper-intermediate level.
