Job Description - Cost Controller

Position Summary:

The Cost Controller will be responsible for ensuring effective cost management of the company's financial resources. The ideal candidate will help in the implementation of the cost control policies and procedures while ensuring that they are in line with the company's objectives and goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor the company's expenses, check accuracy of the data in the accounting system
• Ad hoc reports to analyze & reconcile project costs
• Bank statements booking to the treasury system
• Conduct periodic checks of financial documents
• Assist colleagues with the correct budget and project allocation of the costs
• Book revenue & costs based on treasury system
• Control of the financials of the commercial projects
• Control under completion of records in financial systems (Treasury vs PM)
• Conducting transaction reconciliations for specific projects
• Cooperation with the banks for the purpose of currency control

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost control or financial management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles and budgeting procedures
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel
