Next Gen Lab is looking for a talented 3D Modeler to join the team behind Pulse Docs Brand — an exciting new animation channel on American YouTube.

About the Project:
Pulse Docs creates exciting mini documentaries and docudramas focused on crime, guns, prison escapes, and interesting facts. Our goal is to build one of the premier animated channels in 2026.

Key Goals:

• 3-4 Videos Produced Per Month
• 1 Million Views Per Month
• 200,000 Subscribers

What You'll Do:

• Build Realistic Assets: Create high-quality, realistic 3D models of characters, environments, vehicles, and props (such as weapons or evidence) based on real-world references.
• Texture & Shade: Handle texturing, materials, and shading to achieve a gritty, immersive, documentary-style aesthetic.
• Optimize for Animation: Ensure all models have clean topology, proper UV unwrapping, and are fully optimized for smooth rigging and animation workflows.
• Recreate History: Reconstruct accurate crime scenes, prison layouts, and geopolitical locations based on actual case files and reference images.
• Collaborate: Work closely with animators, directors, and researchers to ensure your assets fit the narrative and technical needs of each 20-30 minute episode.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong Portfolio/Showreel demonstrating expertise in realistic 3D modeling (characters, hard-surface props, and environments).
• Software Proficiency in industry standards like Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, etc.
• Technical Knowledge of topology, UV mapping, and creating animation-ready meshes.
• Obsessive Attention to Detail and historical/factual accuracy when recreating real-world items and locations.
• Bonus: Experience with rigging, Marvelous Designer (for clothing), lighting, or Unreal Engine workflows.
