As the Team Leader of a Golang development team, you will play a key role in both hands-on development and team leadership.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, support, and develop a team of Go engineers, including task planning, prioritization, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Mentor and coach team members, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Drive technical recruitment by conducting interviews and helping to grow the team.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments, ensuring smooth collaboration in English.
  • Track and analyze key team performance metrics (lead time, cycle time, sprint predictability) to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
• Technical Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable microservices and REST APIs, ensuring seamless integration with other company products.
  • Drive architectural discussions and make high-level technical decisions that guide the team.
  • Ensure system reliability by proactively identifying risks and addressing potential points of failure.
  • Monitor and manage technical debt, ensuring long-term codebase health.
• Process & Quality
  • Support and improve CI/CD processes and internal development practices to streamline delivery.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests, and ensure technical and product documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Promote continuous improvement workflows, tooling, and delivery processes to maximize development velocity.

Required skills:

• at least 3 years of commercial development experience in Go;
• experience working with Kafka or other message brokers;
• experience working on highload projects;
• English is at least B2 level.
