Our client, production company is looking for Senior Regulatory Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• To support and maintain ‘best in class service’ legislation service for customers (Customs Union area and CIS countries) that reflects business needs and supports group policies

• Conformity compliance of such product groups as complex food additives, seasonings, enzyme preparations, baking mixtures (improvers), brains, flavourings, flavouring subsenses and preparations etc.

• To generate technical documents for customers(accurately and to tight time scales) for example:

• Specifications (Standard and Customer Specific)

• Allergen/Intolerance Data

• Nutritional Data

• Safety Data Sheets

• MSDS

• To advise on regulatory issues impacting the industry and the Allwin business.

• Labelling, including International Legislation, Salt Reduction, Food Safety Alerts and GMO/Claims.

• Actioning customer specification related requests and maintaining regular communication with regards to specifications and their completion.

• To liaise closely with other internal departments (E.g: Quality, R&D, Customer care, sales team).

• To maintain awareness of all proposed and pending new food regulations (Customs Union and National level).

• To assist in product registration for Custom Union countries (Official governmental portals)

• To remain aware of all health and safety issues relevant to the job.

• To remain fully flexible to meet business requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

• Hold a degree in food science or related discipline – chemistry.

• Russian language. English is required (Oral and written)- intermediate.

• Experience in similar position - 5 years min.

• Experience in a company manufacturer of complex food additives, seasonings, enzyme preparations, baking mixtures (improvers), marinades, flavourings.

• Knowledge of Customs Union legislation: food, food additive, enzymes, flavourings.

• Knowledge of CIS countries food legislation would be a distinct advantage.

• PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Experience in 1C and Optiva systems is an advantage

• Excellent Communication skills.

• Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
