Jack Poker is an entertainment start-up with a strong technology stack. It is developing a poker room in Europe, North and Latin America, and China.

We are creating a unique product aimed at amateur players and differentiating ourselves from the mainstream poker market, which has been built around professionals making money from the game for over twenty years.

Our goal is to become the #1 poker room for amateurs in a few years through a fundamentally new approach - focusing on the experience and enjoyment, skills, and safe play of amateurs.

Goals for the next 3-6 months

• Scale up (we have ambitious growth plans)
• Enter new markets
• Learn to adapt our product and processes to new markets quickly
• Increase the efficiency of our room operations

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

• Work closely with the product team and help make decisions based on data
• Be responsible for data quality in the new unit
• Build product and operational dashboards
• Operate on both small samples and apply statistical criteria to evaluate the results of experiments
• Communicate our benefits to less tech-savvy partners, be able to prove it with numbers
• Immerse yourself in our unit economics to understand how changes to the product affect it

WHO WE'RE SEARCHING FOR: ideal profile

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as an analyst/data analyst/product analyst in a digitalisation role
• High level of SQL (we have Clickhouse)
• Experience in building dashboards in BI systems (Tableau, Redash, PowerBI, Looker, etc.)
• Ability to conduct product research and present results
• Experience in conducting A/B tests and knowledge of the basics of statistics
• Experience of working in a product team
• Experience in gaming/gambling will be an advantage.
• Experience in building DWH and data pipelines would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Python/R for data transformation, calculating stats and building models
• Willingness to work with raw or poorly structured data
• English - B2+, Chinese will be an advantage

• Ability to distinguish the important for the business from the unimportant
