Our client, a large FMCG-company, is looking for Head of Direct Procurement Department

As the Head of Direct Strategic Sourcing, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and support business objectives. You will lead a team of sourcing professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives for direct materials to optimize costs and ensure supply continuity.
• Lead negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities forimprovement and innovation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
• Monitor and manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with quality standards and service level agreements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sourcing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Prepare and present reports on sourcing performance and strategic initiatives to senior management.

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within the FMCG industry.
• Fluent English is a must.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful sourcing strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
