About the Company

VillaCarte Group is a group of companies that began its activities in 2012. It includes development projects Layan Green Park, La Vista Villas and Layan Verde, real estate agency VillaCarte, proptech project Sabai, and hotel La Green.

As part of launching our new media project, we are looking for an Editorial Writer to create original stories and help shape the editorial voice of a media platform focused on life, business and culture in Phuket.

Key Focus Areas

Editorial Writing & Storytelling

• Write original news-driven and lifestyle content covering life, culture, business and key developments on the island.

• Turn facts, events and observations into clear, engaging and well-structured stories.

News & Lifestyle Coverage

• Monitor local agenda and identify relevant topics for timely coverage.

• Work with both fast-paced news formats and deeper lifestyle or feature pieces.

Editorial Quality & Voice

• Maintain consistency of tone, quality and narrative across all published materials.

• Collaborate with SMM Manager to refine story angles and improve storytelling.

Collaboration & Contribution

• Work closely with SMM and Marketing Manager to ensure content alignment across platforms.

• Contribute ideas for new formats, sections and long-term content series.

We Expect You to Have

• Experience in editorial writing, journalism or media (news, city media or lifestyle projects).

• Strong writing skills and the ability to work with different formats - from short news pieces to long-form articles.

• Good sense of news value, storytelling and audience relevance.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic media environment.
