We are seeking a C++ developer for relocation to Dubai, UAE.

Our client is an international high-frequency trading company headquartered in Dubai. It was founded in 2017.

As a proprietary trading firm, they are free from the risks associated with managing clients' investments, remaining accountable solely to our highest standards. Sparklands utilises its own capital, relying on advanced mathematical models and complex trading strategies that it builds, tests, and continually refines.

A unique approach helped the business maintain profitability from its first month of operation for 7 straight years. Currently, they trade up to 6% of the trading volume on major exchanges.

The team works remotely and also on-site in Dubai.

About the role

You will be working on developing and optimizing trading systems, algorithms, and connections to cryptocurrency exchanges.

A new developer will help the company to

• Build new market link connectivity.

• Reduce latency in trading systems.

• Maintain and improve core infrastructure for performance and stability.

Your future tasks

• Develop and maintain connections with cryptocurrency exchanges and data providers, including designing new market links and connectivity tools.

• Troubleshoot market data issues.

• Improve and maintain high-load, low-latency C++ applications, actively reducing latency to optimize trading performance.

• Develop new features.

• Ensure operational excellence and system reliability as they scale.

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure the correct behaviour of algorithms and enhance trading systems.

C++, Python, AWS, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Kafka, Kubernetes.

We expect from you

• 4+ years of experience in C++ development.

• Experience with high-load, low-latency systems.

• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.

• Good grasp of networking fundamentals (REST, Websockets, etc.).

• English language at B2+ level (all internal communications are in English).

• Readiness to relocate to Dubai.

Amazing, if you have

• Knowledge of financial markets, HFT, or distributed systems.

• Exposure to protocols like FIX.

• Familiarity with AWS, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, or Kubernetes.

• Basic experience with Python and Kafka.
