Associate / Senior Associate — M&A and Corporate Development

Ozon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join its M&A and Corporate Development team as an Associate / Senior Associate. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic transactions and partnerships that support the company’s long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining a pipeline of potential acquisition targets through market research, business model assessment, and financial analysis;

• Coordinating and mentoring junior team members across projects, including task allocation and quality control of deliverables;

• Performing business valuation and developing financial models;

• Preparing high-quality presentation materials for senior management and the Board;

• Participating in due diligence processes, coordinating with external advisers, and supporting deal structuring;

• Contributing to transaction execution, including preparation and review of transaction documentation, negotiations and post-merger integration activities;

• Supporting strategic non-equity partnerships and other corporate development initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, in-house M&A, or Big 4 valuation / transaction advisory;
• Strong valuation, financial modeling, and corporate finance expertise;
• Solid understanding of technology-driven business models;
• Working knowledge of transaction documentation and deal processes;
• Proven experience in successfully closed transactions;
• Degree in finance, economics, or a related field from a reputable university;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;

• Supporting strategic non-equity partnerships and other corporate development initiatives including real estate–related transactions and deals involving closed-end investment funds (ZPIFs);
• Hands-on experience in public and private debt structuring;

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
