Chief/Lead Data Scientist

· Managed the team of 7-10 data scientists and consultants (hiring, development, coaching)
· Responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of marketing predictive modeling portfolio (churn, product propensity, customer preference, prospect acquisition)
· Led the migration and redesign of legacy modeling portfolio from SAS/SPSS to modern data science platform (Spark, Python, Data Robot)
· Designing state of the art churn modeling solution incorporating deep learning on customer interactions, NLP and modern boosted algorithm resulting in over 30% improvement in churn model performance
· Architected and led implementation of auto-retrain framework allowing to plug in multiple modeling solutions to learn on-line, retrain and redeploy without human in the loop cutting down in retrain cycle from weeks to minutes.

· Designed and implemented analytical apps to allow business users to run discoveries on customer journey (call center reduction rates, root cause analysis to increasing self serve conversion rates, minimizing device return)
· Led discovery projects focusing on customer cross channel journey analysis. Successful discoveries resulted in realized multimillion dollar savings (customer equipment upgrade and return)
· Designed and implemented models that utilize variety of advanced analytic techniques applied to the range of textual and transactional data sources used to explain and predict customer behavior. Work with Teradata EDW platform to discover, join and blend variety of data sources. Utilize Tableau for exploratory data analysis and insights discovery

· Lead the efforts in building a framework to updаtеand enhance application modules. Ensured integration of updated modules with the existing components and technologies.
· Defined end-to-end design and architecture for the Communication Lookup application used by VZW store reps and business users – currently used by over 40 K users daily. Solely worked on UI implementation of this application to ensure compatibility with desktop and mobile platforms
