Accounting systems (budgeting, managerial, book-keeping) development and optimization
Internal controls and procedures implementation and tests
IFRS reporting, including consolidation and external Group companies consulting on IFRS matters
Finance department structure improvements
Internal audit department and procedures formation
Audit, analysis, preparation and conversion of financial statements in accordance with Russian and International accounting standards of largest energy-mining (gas, oil, electricity, such as Gazprom, RAO UES Rossiii, TNK-BP), industrial, telecommunications (CenterTelecom), retail and consumer products sectors, including system of controls and internal processes test and optimization, financial statements compilation and tax reviews participation.
Budgeting and cost controlling:
- Provision of monthly financial and management reporting to the management team
- Annual budgeting process coordination, responsible for consolidated Company's budget
- Monthly preparation of rolling forecasts in order to provide last best estimate to top managers, supporting business activities
- Strategic plans creation (3 and 10 years), including process development
- In charge of administrative costs control, monthly reporting actual-planned figures to directors in order to make quick and proper decisions
- Details and explanations provision to budget holders regarding financial and underlying operating results
Accounting and reporting:
- Responsible for the quality, transparency and completeness of accounting according to the regulations and IFRS standards, financial results preparation in accordance with group and legal requirements
- Taxes calculation and submission, in charge of declarations and relations with the tax authorities
- Preparation and coordination of the monthly closing, respecting the deadlines with expected level of quality, for both local and Group rules
- Managerial accounting, information provision for decision-making, responsible for business analytical reports preparation and distribution, guarantying qualitative and robust process
- Relationships management with auditors (IFRS and RAP)
Other responsibilities:
- Department reorganization (including finance mission identification, processes development, gaps elimination, team lead to performance)
- Participation in the definition of financial accounting jobs and their evolution
- Personnel management (Subordinates: 11 people - direct, 30 - total): training and development, segregation of roles and responsibilities, KPIs identification and follow-up
- Development and maintenance of the current enterprise information system in order to provide correct and actual financial information
- Most of the processes implemented first time, procedures have been written including risks assessments
- Methodological support of new ERP implementation project
- Close CFO support, acting as a backup
Achievements in budgeting:
- Workforce optimization by 55%
- Satisfactory assessment by internal clients (budget holders and directors) is “excellent”
- Implementation of rigorous and structured approach to budgeting and cost control

- Accounting recovery from the very basic level, respect of legislation and Group norms
- System of internal controls in accounting, reporting and controlling implementation

- Accounting processes and reporting optimization (fast closure in 4 days set-up)
