I participate in developing the architecture and components of the VBFXL system – core and front-office banking system based on Oracle’s multi-tier technologies.
I’m the leader of the team porting legacy application from Oracle Forms to Oracle ADF.
I also coordinate activities of the company development teams to achieve goals and objectives of the various projects and technology sectors.
I take part in the development process construction managing selection and preparation of software platforms, development rules. Issue tracking, continuous integration and configuration management processes in the company are also under my control.

Being the head of the developer team I took part in the development of a Calculation Custom Charges System for Russian Customs.
I developed the system architecture as a whole and designed it components.
The basis of the system design is automatic code generation by calculation of payment rules. It allows to provide sufficient productivity, guaranteed response time for inquiry of calculation, along with considerable flexibility of the rules.
The system can work in a cluster mode (on several computers) allowing to redistribute loading between system nodes.

I designed and developed the dbArtos (Aligned Risk Technology Reporting System) credit risks control system for Deutsche Bank.
The system is involved in collection of information for all branches of the Bank worldwide, as well as weekly/monthly values calculation (probability of default, exposure at default, expected loss, etc.). The core of the system is corporate DWH collecting many types of information (clients info, loans, transactions, rates) from more than 40 data feeds worldwide.
The system also incorporates the reports for the State Regulator of BundesBank.
In the developer team I occupied the technical leader position. The team was involved in design, development and optimization of the Oracle DBMS-based solutions intended for collection (ETL), storage and processing of huge amount of data (database size > 18 Tb that time).

I designed and developed the VBXL information system.
I was involved in conversion of the automated banking system “Vabank XL” for huge data volume processing and applied it for production in bank information systems at ICICI Bank and OTP Bank.
I developed methods of the system productivity improvement: re-engineering algorithms, parallelizing algorithms, query optimizing, database physical optimizing.
I designed and developed integration solutions for the bank’s information systems: Siebel8 CRM, TransMaster CardPro, UCS.
I also participated in the reason analysis and made revisions in cases of the VBXL system performance decline in the banks being with the FORS-BS company support: Bank of China, Tinkoff Credit System.

I designed and developed information system architecture elements for Roseurobank commercial bank.
I developed processing system for SWIFT, Telex-payments messages.
I researched and developed methods of restructuring of the bank’s information infrastructure: exploration and determination of the functional tasks carried out by the systems, determining ways to integrate the existing information systems in the bank.

I occupied the position of the leader developer of SWIFT solutions for FORS's automated banking systems and porting Securities Clearance and Customer Registration System (see below "Securities clearance and customer registration system") to Oracle DBMS (PL/SQL, Oracle Forms).
I developed all rules and regulations used in the developing cycle, coached team members.
Under my supervision the developing team analysed requirements & design of the FORS-BS’s TotalLedger system with the third corporate banking systems (BOC2000, Bank of China).
I was responsible for integration of the above solutions with the FORS-BS’s automated banking systems and put the systems on production & support cycle at various banks.
I made the prototype of the next generation banking system on Java2, J2EE, Oracle ADF and Oracle iAS.

I took part in E-sales and order booking system development for Dell Inc.
The system was implemented to reduce costs of order handling for the goods coming from an Internet-shop and provided an option of the round-the-clock booking of orders from the buyers via the Internet, automated order handling for the production system without direct participation of the operators.
I performed design, development and commissioning of a trade mall for printers and consumables retail stock. Developed and commissioned the content managing system of the Internet-shop web-site.
I participated in the integration project of merging the trade systems and order handling systems of the U.S.A. and EMEA.

Securities clearance and customer registration system.
The system is tailored for use in the SWISS AMERICAN SECURITIES INC. (SASI) company and makes customer service just automatic on basis of STP concept.
The software I designed within the team enabled to process automatically various kind of business and financial information. This provided a higher grade of customer service. The company personnel felt relieved from doing unnecessary things “by hand” during the working day.
I implemented automatic data entry into the system, developed informational gates (in/out) with the sources and consumers of financial information related with the securities movement, bid-and-asked quotations, corporate actions, trading, such as: SWIFT (financial and business information exchange system), Telekurs, e.g. EVPS2000 (securities rates), TBII (corporate actions), XCITEK (corporate actions on the US market) and securities brokerage systems functioning in SASI on mainframe.
I developed algorithms and programs making it possible to automatically process the in info, and prepared informational sheets sent to the customer through the e-mail, fax, MS Office documents (Word, Excel) and SWIFT network.
I developed the Web subsystem to provide remote access to functionality of the system through the Internet.

I designed and developed Billing & Information System for paging enterprise - <Arcade>.
The system consists of several applications. It allows paging company managers to have stock and inventory control, perform sales (both from local, and remote shops), check well timed service payment; it also allows the Customer department managers to check current state of pagers and their numbers in a radio network. The system also collects and stores all the information for the company and enables the managers to easily obtain current and historical information, summarized reports and trend analysis on the entire enterprise database. The design also allows users to "step back in time" and view the entire information about a customer, customer numbers and sales agents activities.
I supervised and made technical assistance to customer support command and supervised system testing of the personnel. I provided technical support to the DBA personnel at a customer company. I was responsible for all modifications of the existing software with respect of changes of the user requirements.
I developed the interface between the billing system and paging network operating system (operators software and operative database in transmitter). The software gateway that uses this interface performs interchange of the data between the transmitter and the paging network. This capability increases performance and quality in customer service.
I designed the database structure and data manipulation algorithms (SQL, stored procedures, triggers). Designed and developed inventory and reports application for the system on PowerBuilder Enterprise.
I developed advanced security subsystem based on the MD5 algorithm. This prevents illegal connection to the database without regular Arcade Billing System applications. I also developed advanced primary key allocation subsystem (faster then standard Sybase identity). Both subsystems were developed as OpenServer Application.
I provided migration from Sybase SQL Anywhere to Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise. I designed data conversion and modification algorithm, developed data loading utility instead of standard BCB utility which uses ASE Bulk-Library. I provided all modifications of various SQL procedures and triggers, data models to increase the Arcade system performance.

Internet based fleet management system - <Cyclone>
The system allows users to send and get messages to vehicles through Inmarsat-C by Internet and trackposition of vehicles (view on digital map) in real-time. This system significantly decreases cost of vehicle communication service. There is no need to install any special software or equipment on the end user's side. The users employ standard web-browser to perform all the operations with the system.
I performed task analysis and produced job tasks for all the developers involved in the project. I made design of all the applications.
I designed and developed a database model and SQL procedures and triggers using PowerDesigner. I developed all client side codes for operating the database (C++, ESQL, ASP). I also developed recommendations for web designers for the ASP use with the Sybase ASE and operational database.
I performed object design of communication part of system and code basic objects for applications. This application uses mobile-to-mobile and X-25 line for data interchange with the mobile and DBMS. Data processing performed on database server in SQL procedures and server application, designed as Sybase OpenServer Application.
In this project Inline Technologies used my digital mapping system for web designed as Java Applets (on client) and ISAPI extension (on server). Extension transfers all mapping data to the client side by request. Java applet code makes UI interactions and performs smart cashing of mapping data on web-client side which dramatically decreases the Internet traffic.
