Team Lead

• Prepare drilling program and performing all aspects of drilling engineering works for the successful, cost effective and safe implementation of drilling activities.
• Liaise, communicate and interface with relevant internal and external parties to ensure that the drilling operation is carried-out out as per approved plan.
• Understand every HSE procedure and rules related with drilling activities and assist to promote the implementation in view of compliance and effectiveness in the drilling activities.
• Review day-to-day operation and entire drilling campaign and evaluate the procedure and technical approach for future reference. Highlight and updаtеall issues pertaining to the operation to Project Manager. Prepare End of Well report.
• Closely monitor inventory levels and coordinating field materials requirements with Drilling Material Coordinator and Drilling Supervisor at site.
• Summarize progress of project, highlight milestone achieved or Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and forward planning and timing. Review project schedule including hold points and milestone. Business Development, Consulting & Project Management.
• Analysis of drilling data in Spotfire and Power BI applications, identifying potential problems and ways to optimize drilling parameters.

• Preparing engineering and technical design for the tenders

o Monitoring and support of wells in execution phase in Shell RTOC (Houston and New Orleans): Torque&Drag, Hydraulics, Swab/Surge, Gas Kick and other analysis for deepwater Gulf of Mexico projects: Appomattox, Glider, Mars B, Mercury, Perdido, Stones, Vito, Ursa, Yukatan and others.
o Optimization of design process and comprehensive post-well data analysis using third-party software such as Spotfire;
o Wells design and pre-planning (Wellpath design, Torque&Drag, Hydraulics);
o Thermal analysis for deepwater HPHT wells in WELLCAT;
o Collaborative well planning sessions and well design in Decision Space Desktop for Gulf of Mexico deepwater projects and Canada unconventional projects. Total value generation is $3.3M for 2013, $4M for 2014. Key deepwater project is Appomattox (more than 20 scenarios generated, each about 40 wells). Key unconventional project – Alaska Burger (15 scenarios designed, each about 300 wells) with wells up to 10000m total depth (TD).

• In-House engineer in Kosmos Energy, Dallas (Jan 2012 – Aug 2012): overall engineering support of drilling process for customer; well design in COMPASS; mechanical loads and hydraulics calculations in WELLPLAN; worked as a focal point – liaised with customer, his subcontractors and another Halliburton divisions.

• Provided training and support for Drilling & Completions software: COMPASS, WELLPLAN, CasingSeat, StressCheck, WELLCAT, DS WellPlanning, OpenWire for Russian and International O&G companies.
• Was actively involved in sales process as technical sales consultant – delivered pre-sales presentations of all D&C applications to prospective customers for all largest O&G companies in Russia – BP, Eurasia, Surgutneftegaz, Gazprom, Lukoil and others.
• Deployed first Digital Asset Real-Time operation center in the world for offshore drilling on Caspian Sea based on Landmark Real-Time solutions: software installation, setting up data transfer pipelines from WITSML server to drilling applications through OpenWire, creating of workspaces and workflows for drilling engineers to analyze real-time data in Landmark drilling applications.
• In-House drilling consultant in one of the largest Oil and Gas companies in Russia – Surgutneftegaz (Surgut, Russia): consulted drilling engineers of well design in Landmark D&C software. Managed and supervised implementation of D&C applications on-site.
• Implemented R5000 version of EDT suite in Surgutneftegaz – in office and field (about 50 rigs). Provided a big amount of trainings of COMPASS and WELLPLAN for field engineers.
• Conducted a set of trainings of D&C software in the leading Kazakhstan O&G companies: Karachagank Petroleum Operations (Aksai), Agip KCO (Atyrau), Tengizchevroil (Atyrau),
• Deployed Digital Asset projects.
• Worked as a member of software development (Calgary, Canada): Translated and developed Russian interface for drilling applications using software Alchemy Catalyst, Trados Freelance. Translated software embedded help systems, manuals and user’s guide for drilling software from English to Russian.
