Maxim Integrated Products, www.maxim-ic.com, one of the leading manufactures of ICs, silicon chips, mostly of analog and analog/digital kinds.
Worked for Maxim as field applications engineer from Moscow office inception. My primary goal was to create the local customers base and set relationship with distributors including Avnet/EBV and Arrow/Spoerly. I have grown active customer base to more then one hundred. Product supply channels were set in easy to execute and predictable way. In cooperated with local distributors I was making 3 to 5 customer visits per week to support design-in for all recognized Analog and Power Management sockets.
In marketing field I have translated numerous technical materials and submitted several original articles presenting to public marketing events.
Took part in corporate training program and attended several marketing evens such as “Active Sales”, “Effective Negotiating”, etc.
Prosoft Company, www.prosoft.ru, is the local dealer of electronic components, one of the leading vendors of the equipment for industrial automation.
Starting working for Prosoft I had set contacts with several new international suppliers to extend company product line. It was Monolithic Power System, RDS, etc. Then I was responsible for cooperating with them including purchasing, stock monitoring, marketing programs, new products promotion. I was driving several projects with key customers. In marketing field I wrote the first electronic components catalog in Prosoft. The brands Monolithic Power Systems and RDS were presented in local market for the first time.
"CYBIKO" Company, www.cybiko.com, was designing and manufacturing the compact computer, PDA with RF connectivity, addressed to teenagers.
My first position in company was Hardware Designer. I have designed number of analog circuits like battery power supply with monitor, charger, audio path, and other with emphasis on price reduction and reasonable performance. Then I was involved in price optimization for the whole system.
My second position was leading hardware engineer. I was responsible for the system design/redesign production support, production test procedures. On regular basis I was making review regarding the nearest market players such as Palm, Sony, and Casio. At the same time I was responsible for researching new products from hardware suppliers: Hitachi, Atmel, NS, STM, TI.
Worked for Texas Instruments Russia (Moscow) as Field Sales Engineer / Business Developer from the office launch in 2006. Spearheaded design-in support of TI Analog and Power Management products, following trough the business case until contract signing. Initially Rep office has no direct account and was collaborating with two leading international distributors, with my efforts the network of local disti and dealers was started. Personally I Identified and successfully supported numerous Russian and several international companies, generating significant business in following fields:
· Industrial automation equipment
· Navigation system: GPS, LBS for different application
· Power electronics: Electrical Motor Drivers, Invertors, Rectifiers, UPS
· Security Systems: Car Alarm, Video Surveillance
Supporting local distributors, dealers and customers I had monetary design-in or pre-sale goal. With my direct efforts sales was increased by more than two times since office inception. Cooperating with marketing department I found several market niches, established relationships with leading local journals, translated from English more than ten technical articles and number of other marketing materials, and wrote several original technical papers for local media. Presented in TI public marketing events such as “TI developer conference 2007”, “TI technical days 2008”, “Power supply design seminar 2009”. In some location the number of attendees exceeded one hundred.
