General Overview of Work performed Onshore:
Assisting project engineer to ensure smooth and non-stop operation of Pipelay barge:
 Planning and guaranteeing project equipment materials (as required per procedure) to be sent offshore to pipelay barge-vessel without delays
 Organizing tests:
• Strapping tests for tools calibration onshore to avoid construction delays offshore and preparing reports
• Trial fits
 Organization of preparation works on supply vessels:
• Chasing grillage, sea-fastenings fabrication job (preparing site instructions, modifying drawings if required, supplying and providing materials for the scope)
• Preparing vessel-vessel, quayside lifting plans
General Overview of Work performed for Pipeline Initiation with Anchor Handling Tug (onshore/offshore):
 Carrying out Onshore Trial fits:
• Rigging in field compatibility checks and all possible verifications
• Raising MOCs for not fitting rigging, preparing of relevant documentation and drawings in AutoCAD.
 Mobilization of Anchor Handling Tug for different projects – Loading project equipment and rigging on vessel as per procedure /drawings
• Preparing jetty check lists
• Compiling certificates of DMA rigging and equipment, ensuring their validity and organizing 3rd party for recertification if required before sending offshore.
• Organizing of wire spooling and unspooling operations on AHT
• Arranging 3rd party for pennants fabrication as per project requirements
 Offshore Installation
• Preparation of Task Plans (addition to Procedures)
• Following and ensuring that installation procedure is followed by vessel’s crew during installation
• Supervising riggers to prepare/connect rigging as per rigging arrangement drawings during offshore installation
• Preparing pull/metrology test check lists and assisting project engineer with CTL survey
• Preparing time-linereports to monitor and record the actual vs planned activities
General Overview of Work performed during Offshore Pipelay on Barge “Israfil Huseynov”:
 Performing all tasks assigned by the Offshore Construction Superintendent, in direct contact with Offshore Construction Assistant, the master and the chief engineer
 Preparing Task Plans for the operation to be done and following them:
• Pipeline Initiation, DMA wire transfer, Abandonment of pipeline on seabed due to weather limitations and recovery, Sacrificial grommet cutting , Final Laydown and etc.
 Monitoring of construction/installation progress to ensure acceptable quality of vessels operations and preparing reports for client
• Daily progress report to monitor and record the actual vs planned activities
• Productivity reports
• Tensioners Loads data
• Rollers reaction data; height configuration
• Stinger ballasting operations for adjustment of floating section depth and angle
• Consumable Report (Grit, HSS, FJC Repair kit, gas reports etc.) – Requesting and arranging transfer from onshore when required
• Abandonment and recovery reports – Time/Tension/Cable Length Log
• Return Pipe and Sling Reports
• Buckle Detector Plate Checks and reports
• Start-up and Final Laydown Heads Valve check reports
• Liaise with asset management for the contract monitoring of the assets
• Ensure the application of project engineering in the construction activities
