Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead business development and strategic sales initiatives for our IT Consulting and integrated hardware solutions in the Russian market. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Analytics, Open-Source Technology Consulting, and migrating from enterprise platforms to open-source ecosystems. A strong understanding of the Manufacturing and BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) sectors is required, along with a proven track record in hardware sales involving servers, storage, and networking.
The role involves driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships at the C-level, and shaping go-to-market strategies to strengthen our presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our IT consulting and hardware offerings in the Russian market.
- Identify, qualify, and close large consulting deals across Analytics, Open-Source Transformation, and Platform Migration areas.
- Build robust sales pipelines, forecast revenue, and achieve quarterly and annual targets.
- Lead client presentations, proposals, and negotiations for high-value integrated hardware and consulting projects.
- Integrated Solutions and Hardware Sales:
- Leverage strong hardware sales expertise to position integrated solutions involving servers, storage, networking, and infrastructure components.
- Build and manage partnerships with OEMs, distributors, and hardware vendors to create bundled offerings that provide comprehensive solutions for clients.
- Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain C-level relationships across major Manufacturing and BFSI enterprises.
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-impact consulting and hardware engagements.
- Partner with delivery and technical teams to align solutions with client business requirements.
- Solution Expertise & Domain Knowledge:
- Advise clients on adopting open-source technologies, such as Linux, Kubernetes, Postgres, Hadoop/Spark, and OpenShift.
- Promote migration from proprietary enterprise systems to open-source stacks to reduce cost and increase flexibility.
- Understand client challenges related to modernization in the Manufacturing and BFSI domains.
- Market Intelligence & Go-To-Market:
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and evolving technology needs in the Russian region.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to shape targeted messaging and campaigns for integrated offerings.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and executive workshops.
Qualifications and Skills
- Sales & Leadership Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in IT consulting and hardware sales, with proven success in closing enterprise-level deals.
- Strong network and successful track record in the Russian IT market.
- Experience selling to Manufacturing and/or BFSI clients is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical & Consulting Expertise:
- Strong understanding of Analytics (BI, Data Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML).
- Experience selling or delivering Open-Source Consulting services.
- Prior exposure to Enterprise-to-Open-Source migration projects (databases, middleware, infrastructure, cloud).
- Knowledge of cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines) is a plus.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business; MBA preferred.

Location and Travel
- Based in Russia or willing to travel frequently to the region.
