The role is responsible to drive digital technology in Russia in close partnership with Global IT Digital & Omni Channel Technology Leads, Regional IT Manager, Local/Regional Franchise teams and key stakeholders on Russia market.
Essential Job Functions
In alignment with Commercial IT International and Global Digital & Omni Channel Technology Team, drive deployment & adoption of data and digital solutions in Russia using global technological platforms.
- Proactively shares knowledge of digital technology risks, developments, and innovations with Business and cross-functionally within IT teams to ensure continuous improvement of IT services and proper mitigation of risks.
- Monitors, measures, reports and reviews performance of digital technological services. Ensures Digital IT solutions meets business demands, maintains stability and integrity of all systems, and complies with all applicable internal and external regulations.
- Solid Business Analysis capabilities in order to translate business demand into Digital IT Requirements.
- A good understanding of business practices and industry outlook within the region internally and externally.
- Should have solid experience around majority of those digital skills (If not all), including technologies related to Digital Marketing, Websites & content & traffic management, Product Launches, B2B , B2C and eCommerce.
- Should have experience in CRM, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics.
- Knowledge & Experience in Digital Platforms and Technology like OMNI channel platforms, SEO, Programmatic or similar are welcome.
Job Duties
The position of Russia Digital Manager of digital channels has been created for realization of the following objectives:
- Search, creation, implementation and development of the digital channels, strategies and IT solutions
- Partner with cross functional team to fully integrate digital into the Business Units strategies for bring additional value for Franchise businesses.
- Ensure digital IT solutions are fully integrated in multichannel and cross channels strategies.
- Establish processes to stimulate innovation. Be an agent of change, bring innovation and usage of digital channels within different areas of company.
- Lead and monitor implementation of digital projects to ensure initial targets are delivered.
- Establish governance process to track effective usage of existing digital channels and inclusion new digital/innovation promotional channels/IT tools into Company digital strategy.
- Reinforce and develop image of the company as innovative and customer oriented.
According to the given tasks performs the following duties:
- Develop a good understanding of Alcon’s enterprise data management and omni-channel marketing strategy.
- Develop a good understanding of uniqueness of in scope markets and their Digital and Data requirements related to business models, technology adoption and regulatory requirements.
- Drive deployment & adoption of data and digital solutions in in-scope markets using global technological platforms.
- Implement digital solutions in full respect with timelines, global IT solutions and stakeholders satisfaction.
- Proactively shares knowledge of digital and data technology risks, developments, and innovations with Business and cross-functionally within IT teams to ensure continuous improvement of IT services and proper mitigation of risks.
- Monitors, measures, reports and reviews performance of data and digital technological services. Ensures Digital IT meets business demands, maintains stability and integrity of all systems, and complies with all applicable internal and external regulations.
- Solid Business Analysis capabilities in order to translate business demand into Digital and Analytics IT.
- Drive the digital idea acceptance and users buy-in of digital channels. Demonstrate benefits, value and possibilities to influence on business results, ensure maximum engagement local and global stakeholders.
- Ensure proper budget control. Looking for possibilities to decrease expenses with the help of internal recourses, choose 3rd party with optimal quality-price ratio.
Cross functional interaction
- Create and lead cross functional groups to accelerate integration of digital within Franchises and overall company strategy and tactics.
- Participate in brand teams to provide input to brand strategy and proactive demand collection.
- Collect and share best practices and examples from other markets and industry.
- Establish strong collaboration with Global teams.
Standard Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree;
- Language: fluent English;
- Experience: 3 years of demonstrated in Digital IT and/or Digital Marketing internally or in marketing agency;
- Experience of delivering digital projects in an international environment; collaborator and team player;
- Project management skills, includes marketing and digital – planning, budgeting, tracking and measuring progress, and reporting;
- Ability to discern and analyze customer insights, understand market dynamics, and connect digital tactics with customer engagement objectives and sales targets;
- Strategic thinking, understanding how to integrate digital within marketing plans;
- Communication, presentation skills and leadership skills to influence on cross-functional teams, strategic partners and vendors.
