At the moment we are looking for an Operations Director (Сonstruction company) for our client - a construction company operating in Saudi Arabia.

Position Overview
The Operations Director (CEO-1) will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity. They will also be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Resposnibilities:

• Management of civil and infrastructure (70%) and industrial facilities / Oil&Gas (30%) construction projects;
• Oversee and manage daily operations across departments, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow with all projects Company has;
• Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs;
• Lead, mentor, and supervise team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment;
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve operational performance;
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies;
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Finance, Sales, HR, Procurement) to align operations with business goals;
• Manage budgets, inventory, and resource allocation effectively;
• Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency;
• Handle vendor and supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and managing procurement processes;
• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations;
• Plan, develop and supervise civil engineering projects;
• Coordinate and direct construction, operations and maintenance activities;
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget;
• Evaluate the performance of civil engineering staff and provide guidance and technical advice;
• Monitor industry trends and developments and recommend changes to improve processes and service;

• Business trips - up to 50%;

• 8 project managers in direct subordination.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Cost Controller project, Operations Management, or a related field (master’s degree is a plus);

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager/ Projects Director in Construction company or in a similar role (minimum 9 years preferred);

• Experience working in contruction company with Civil and infrastructure projects;

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously;
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards;
• Skills in Project Management, Budget Management, Construction Contracting, Risk Management, Design and Development, Engineering Documentation;
• English - fluent (necessarily);
• Readiness for relocation and business trip within Saudi Arabia (50%).

• Place of work and Office location - Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia;
• Contract for 1 year with the possibility of prolongation;
• Work schedulle - 5/2, 48 hours per week (irregular working hours);
